Founded to preserve and promote the scholarship of Theodor & Ada Lessing and to provide discreet support for similarly-situated, contemporary writers, artists, and educators presently challenged by authoritarian structures in their home communities.

The Theodor Lessing Foundation is a US based non-profit entity qualified as tax-exempt under IRC 501(c)(3) to generally provide financial support and assistance on a global basis for literary, artistic, educational, religious, charitable, and scientific purposes.
